After learning and practising different massage modalities here in New Zealand and Europe, I see massage as a critical part of health maintenance. By relaxing the body, giving the mind a break and eliminating toxins, you allow your body the essential rest and rejuvenation to help cope with modern life. I use different techniques so that you can feel taller, looser and lighter; soft strokes, firm strokes, pulsing and pressure points to help ease stress into joyful relaxation.

Massage Techniques include:

Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy massage combines the therapeutic properties of touch and smell, balancing body and mind. It promotes a sense of well-being. The essential oils are carefully chosen to release tension in the muscles or ease stress.

Māori Romiromi Massage
Māori massage an ancient massage and healing technique passed down by Tohunga, a reputable spiritual teacher and practitioner. It is similar to deep tissue massage. Trauma & stress are stored in the pressure points & the energy in them is freed up with romiromi, helping to relieving stress.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes that relieve tension in the muscles and connective tissues. The depth of the pressure is guided by the client.

Pulsing
Pulsing is a gentle technique that I use to rock the body from side to side, the arms and legs in ways that dispel stiffness and create room for better movement.

These massage techniques are used throughout a relaxing massage to suit the needs of each client. No person is the same, so no massage is the same

Quite frankly, the best massage I have ever had – Nick K.
